Connect an AI assistant
Reepli exposes an MCP server: an assistant like Claude can use it to read your customer records, your appointments, your conversations and your WhatsApp assistant's configuration.
What it can do, and what it can't
Access is read-only. A connected assistant can look things up; it cannot change anything, send anything, or delete anything. To change your configuration, go through your dashboard.
Each key only sees your account. There is no way to point it at another account.
What you need
An API key, created from Settings → Integrations. It's shown only once, when it's created: copy it right then.
How to connect
On the same page, below your keys, the Connect an AI assistant section shows the exact block to paste, with your server address already filled in, and one tab per tool:
- Claude Code / Claude Desktop — a single command to paste into a terminal.
- n8n — MCP Client node: the address, then the auth header, field by field.
- Zapier — Zapier MCP — same fields.
Copy from the dashboard rather than from this page: the address there is already correct for your account.
Once pasted, click Test connection. The number of reachable tools is shown — that's the confirmation that the key and the address are right.
The claude.ai web connector
It's not supported yet: it requires an authorization type we haven't built yet. Use Claude Code or Claude Desktop in the meantime.
If it doesn't work
- "This key doesn't belong to your account" — the key was revoked, or it comes from another account. Create a new one.
- Your assistant sees no tools — your key most likely has no read scope checked. Check it in Settings → Integrations.
- You lost the key — it's unrecoverable, we only store a fingerprint of it. Create a new one and revoke the old one.
What about the REST API?
The same account exposes a REST API for your own development. Its full reference is at api.reepli.ai/docs.
